Preoccupied

A little bit ago my friend over at three kitchen fairies tagged me to list my top five addictions

photography - i love seeing beautiful things over again. i'd like to put this one to better use some day and capture other people's beautiful moments for them, too.

printing - this is an odd one, it's more of an anticipation of an addiction. i was exposed to a printshop at an early age and then again to another independant printer a bit later in life and have had the urge to print ever since. now that i'm old enough to own and operate a press of my own i have a desire to find one and figure it out for myself (with adam's mechanical aptitude to guide me) and make many beautiful letterpressed creations. until then i use freezer paper and my gocco and will soon be brave enough to attempt the screenprinting kit adam got me for christmas.

antiques - i love sharing the love of objects already loved for a long time. i still dream of a shop with my mother to share our love of antiques and letterpress and quilts and art with others (and get a sneak peak feature on design*sponge, this is the silly part of the dream, but i still dream it and keep the apartment nice just in case)

wedding planning / adam - this is often where trains of thought stop these days. i'm a bit preoccupied lately as you can tell by my recent string of posts. i could try and drum up another but honestly i would get sidetracked and end up thinking about dresses and favors and guestlists before i was able to compose much so i'll leave my list at this and pass along the tag to list addictions to anyone who can actually list 5 in a row without getting consumed by addiction # 4 before they're done...
