Shortly after the ring was slipped onto one hand, my trusty kodak was tucked into the other and I ran into the bathroom where adam's brand new orange sweater was hanging ready and waiting to be the backdrop for a just became engaged photoshoot. It wasn't until i was uploading them a day later, seeing the ridiculous number of shots i took, that he realized why i was in the bathroom for so darned long after just being delivered the happiest news of my life.

Rather than working I'd like to be planning and prepping for our engagement dinner party for our parents this weekend. finally! the funeral home's first dinner party!! we originally planned it for last sunday until my landlord called to tell me there would be a body downstairs at the same time. a body and some mourners. very unappetizing if you ask me, and probably a tad bit impolite what with the whopping and happiness upstairs, engagement joy and all, while the mood is a bit more somber down below.
